VERA Renewables tailors its services to fit the unique needs of municipalities, private landowners, utility companies, government agencies, schools, and farms, while complementing their own resources. Bringing our strong professional relationships and collaborative communication skills to the execution of project activities, ensures that project development proceeds in an efficient and effective manner from our Waterbury, Vermont offices. Geographically, we are focused on New England projects, though we have been tapped to apply our site prospecting and property acquisition capabilities along the east coast from West Virginia through Maine. Our experience has resulted in specialized analysis roles reaching across the country to states including Texas, Michigan, Oregon, and Wyoming.
Community Outreach
The most successful energy projects share information and listen to the ideas and concerns of their community. VERA brings together local and regional stakeholders in cooperative forums to share information and stimulate solutions to potential development obstacles. Building community trust while making the process efficient and cost effective is the overall goal.

Project Management
Project management means deploying a strategy and overseeing the many interrelated tasks that are coordinated efficiently and effectively to reach a client's energy development goals. VERA’s project management work has resulted in over 250 Megawatts of renewable energy capacity permitted throughout the northeast for our clients.

Site Feasibility Assessment
Each renewable project presents developers with a unique set of challenges and benefits from conception through commissioning of the project. VERA offers varying levels of feasibility analyses, each keyed to the phase of development in which we are working with our clients.

Economic Viability &
Financial Risk Analyses
A renewable energy project’s ultimate success as a conventional power source rests on its long-term economic viability. VERA's hands-on experience with evaluating energy production, together with its ability to analyze the principal factors determining a project’s economic viability, represent a unique skill set we bring to the wind development.
